It took me a little while to get the machine running correctly.
After I set the torch correctly the 223 ran fast.

I am new to annealing and started out using the hand drill and torch method. This became tedious and seemed imprecise. I looked into automatics annealers and found the Comp Edge Pro to be the best value. It has everything I need and nothing I don’t.

When it first arrived, I did a dry run just to get familiar with the operation and found the speed controller was not working. No matter where I set it, the cycle time stayed at 7.5 seconds. I contacted burstfire support, and they sent a whole new unit.

The replacement is working nicely, and it is actually fun to watch. It will process 50 cases in about 9 minutes; way faster than the drill method, and my hands don’t get cramped up holding it steady.

I process a lot of 45-70 brass which has a wide rim that doesn’t let them lay flat in the hopper and they tend to slide out. To overcome this, I tilted the unit back by putting a piece of 1x2 under the front. Worked like a charm! They still lay a little wonky, but they don’t fall out.

Overall, good value, works as advertised and saves time. Recommended.

Simple addition to make short cases properly line up. I’m using 6 ARC cases. I’m very happy with the Burst fire annealer.

Everything was as I expected very good quality

First time using one. Beats a drill, socket, and a torch on a sketchy mount. Good capacity and speed options. Consistant. Seems like a durable well made machine. Should last me a long time as I dont anneal every day. Ptobably will never use brass prep tool portion as I have one of those set up in a different location. Hope to get a lot of good years out of it.

I love this unit and it packs so much for dollar. The remote line to keep my bench clean, the magnetic tray to keep the brass off my bench (again clean). Turn the lights off and it'll take a little bit to tune the wheels for the correct speed but then you are off and running. I can work on other things while this annealer does its thing. Finally someone came out with an induction annealer with a reasonable price. Works flawlessly with no hands on effort. Just load the tray, set the time and watch it work. Would recommend this product to anyone with a lot of cases to anneal with little effort

good addition to the annealer, makes 300 Blackout annealing much easier.

The gen2 with the short case feed ramp works really well for 6mm arc and 224 valkyrie cases

Switching from a broken down annealer. They all get the job done is my thought and at this price point, I had little to lose and a lot to gain if it’s what it advertised to be.

I know a chute based annealer is nothing new. But the unit is very well made. Packaging is really nice. Felt like opening a present (and it was), finish seems nice and tough and should hold up to a lot of abuse. Finish on the aluminum wheels were nice and shiny. Contrast really well with the machine.

As curious as I am, I opened up the unit to take a quick peek. It was finished inside/out. Inside looks just as nice as the outside. As an electrical engineer, it’s clear it was assembled with care and skilled hands. Paid attention to the smallest manufacturing details on the box. Very surprised there. Unlike the other brand annealers I’ve owned or seen which were not very well put together. They offer lifetime warranty, but looks like it will hold up very well for many many years.

Only thing I’m but sure about if the torch holders. Works as it should. Easy adjustment. But will not work if you have a stiff hose. Need a soft and flexible hose so it doesn’t move the torch out of position. Part of that could also be hose tension if it’s slightly twisted. This may not be the holders fault, just the nature of using torch/hose type annealing machine.

Overall very impressed with this machine. I’m sold. Will be trying their other products.

Very consistent annealing across several batches of 100 x rifle brass. The tool center works great as well. Would highly recommend to any repair

Was waiti.g on the backorder list for the induction annealing machine and again it did not happen. So settled for this unit Purchased 2 months ago. Had a couple issues. One was the torch holder would occasionally drift figured out a better option. Second issue was a slight grinding or rubbing sound coming from inside the machine bottom wheel. Contacted burstfire received an immediate response they explained what it could be i removed the panel turns out loose screws not an issue rectified. Back in buisness. Thanks

So far I have annealed .223, 6mm ARC, .308, 300WSM, and .338 edge. The annealer has worked flawlessly. Getting it setup is very easy and switching between calibers takes very little time. I’m very happy with my purchase.
