I was missing the torch and hose for my annealer. I tried to call but couldn’t find a phone number anywhere. Obviously they don’t want to talk to people. I do. I had to do it all on the internet and it went really well and I had my parts in 5-6 days. Their service was very good. The parts work as they should !
This torch failed on the second use, it will not stay lit, the same with the original torch, I have sent two messages to Burst Fire with no response now going on 2 weeks
Hi Gary, sorry to hear you’re having issues with your torch. We checked out email system and spam box and cannot find any record of you ever contacting us regarding any issues, except an email from 2024 when you first purchased the 2 in 1 annealer inquiring about your shipping status within 2 hours of placing an order.
Looks like you purchased a set of replacement torch and hose March 27, 2026.
Torch and hose are simple products. Just a tube for gas to pass through. Clogging is common unfortunately. Clogging is usually caused by contaminants. If you replace only the torch and hose without replacing the source of clogging (bottle) new one will get clogged again.
Torches is usually clogged Likely from inverted / tilted bottle or bad / old propane.
* Tip: never use invert the torch or the bottle while in use. Or bottle not stored upright.
* Indication of bad propane can be from long term storage and/or stored sideways and not upright. From your own storage method or from the retailer. Or torch and/or bottle was used inverted/sideways.
* The oily substance from a propane bottle is often the result of impurities in the propane or the additives used for odorization called Ethyl Mercaptan. This oil can accumulate in the tank and lines, potentially causing issues. Most of the time, is due to poor storage, inverted bottle used or stored, or near empty bottle.
* First the torch will go bad, and eventually the hose as well. A new torch will eventually get clogged as well if this is the issue.
* At this point the oily substance is already inside the hose and torch. Switching out a new bottle will not help. Using a new torch and not the hose will pump what’s in the hose back in the torch. We recommend all three to be replaced. Bottle, hose and torch will need to be replaced.
It is sadly common and unfortunately unavoidable as all torches gets clogged eventually sooner or later.
We are always here to help. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us by email or via contact us form on the website.
Thanks
Very high quality and durable hose. Better than any you can get at local hardware store. And cheaper.
They work fine when they work but they don't last long when they say they get oil in them some how
hose plugged up and so did torch, replaced but added a propane filter that is used on a buddy heater, working great now but it remains to be seen as to whether the filter keeps the hose and torch clean but it is a $15 dollar experiment.
