Bought the Comp Edge Pro because of the small footprint and I already had a separate case prep station. Very easy to dial in - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DFH2GYKH is the hose you need if you want to run it off a 20lb propane tank.
I love it. Has great speed adjust very easy to use. Adjust your flame correctly “watch there video on YouTube” and it’s quick. I do short brass 300blkout and long magnum brass with no issues. Easy to set for each.
So far I have annealed .223, 6mm ARC, .308, 300WSM, and .338 edge. The annealer has worked flawlessly. Getting it setup is very easy and switching between calibers takes very little time. I’m very happy with my purchase.
I've been using the Burstfire COMP PRO for a while now, and it's been a great addition to my reloading setup. The build quality feels solid and it was easy to get up and running. It produces consistent results with very little effort, and overall saves time and gives me the confidence that my brass is being annealed consistently.
I have had zero issues with this annealer. 300+ magnum cases so far.
I managed to order the model without a torch and hose. I must be blind as I didn't see that there was an option without these items. I was able to pick up both a hose and torch at Home Depot, so I appreciate that Burstfire uses common parts. I will say that it is probably a better deal to just buy the model with the torch and hose that Burstfire offers. My only feedback is to make that "not included" text larger and bright red for people like me. Thanks for the great product.
Annealing brass is important for both brass life and proper neck tension. The Burstfire Comp Pro is all you need to get the job done fast 'n' easy. Better yet, do it to yer pistol brass too!
Very good equipment. Have to run it slow using the green propane bottles, might go quicker with MAP gas. All in all I am very satisfied with performance for price!

The Comp edge pro is great value for money, ideal for my requirements. Runs smoothly and easy to adjust speed to get the right glow. Burner holder a little fiddly to adjust but does its job when adjusted. Excellent customer service and support.
I had to wait over month BUT it was worth the time. Very long way from US to Poland and did not found other company with such equipment to the post. Little scratch on the display but I can live with it. Very low placement need.

I've been wanting to anneal my brass for a long time but couldn't justify spending $600 for one. Stumbled across this one on one of the forums and very glad I did. Reliable, easy to set up, and the speed adjustment knob and LED display are appreciated. I annealed a 5 gallon bucket of 308. Not one misfeed or jam. Awesome little machine.
I was pleased at how small it was, yet shocked at how many pieces of brass it could hold. I love the fact it takes up little space. You literally set it up, sit back and watch it work. Very simple but affective. I have already recommended it to my reloading buddies.
I wanted to give it 3.5 stars but didn't feel it deserved only 3 so 4 it is. Concept is very good and as far as annealing...yup it does it and well for that I give it 5 stars. The hopper holds about 90 creedmoor brass and takes ~5 minutes to anneal. The issue i had is with the torch and holder. I went to HD and Lowes to get the torch and went through 5 torches before giving up. THey would not stay lite. Not burstfires fault but they did design it around this torch. The torch holder is very difficult to get right or should I say a pain in the a**. Oh and the price is friggin awesome. I got 15% for new years sale and it is nice and compact in my small area. I don't think you can go wrong except the torch. Torch required sucks. I got one off of amazon and had to. jury rig a stand but it works.
Went with the Burstfire comp. Set up was easy, annealing process followed suit and the price can’t beat it.

Pretty neat little annealer. Works great, a little noisy though.
It took me a little while to get the machine running correctly.
After I set the torch correctly the 223 ran fast.
I am new to annealing and started out using the hand drill and torch method. This became tedious and seemed imprecise. I looked into automatics annealers and found the Comp Edge Pro to be the best value. It has everything I need and nothing I don’t.
When it first arrived, I did a dry run just to get familiar with the operation and found the speed controller was not working. No matter where I set it, the cycle time stayed at 7.5 seconds. I contacted burstfire support, and they sent a whole new unit.
The replacement is working nicely, and it is actually fun to watch. It will process 50 cases in about 9 minutes; way faster than the drill method, and my hands don’t get cramped up holding it steady.
I process a lot of 45-70 brass which has a wide rim that doesn’t let them lay flat in the hopper and they tend to slide out. To overcome this, I tilted the unit back by putting a piece of 1x2 under the front. Worked like a charm! They still lay a little wonky, but they don’t fall out.
Overall, good value, works as advertised and saves time. Recommended.
