• We redesigned and Improved vs others on the market. Normal reamers cut at 35–40-degree angle, which will require excessive metal to be cut for the crimp to be removed. BFG Reamers 80–85-degree angle, to SAAMI dimensions, and requires minimal cutting

• Cut radius for our tools is 0.0025 below standard primer dimensions. For small is 0.1730 and 0.209 for large, compared to 0.167 small and 0.202 large for most other products in the market (undersized).

• *****The reamer does NOT need to be inserted all the way into the primer pocket. Insert until you feel / hear the cutting, and it should be sufficient! (unless your preference if to open it up a bit more to assist in ease of priming using a hand primer). It is designed to be quick “tap and go” and is all you need! It's like swaging, but better, and faster.

Why Burstfire Reamers Are Better
Most reamers cut at a 35–40° angle, forcing you to remove excessive brass just to clear a crimp. Burstfire reamers use an 80–85° cutting angle, machined to true SAAMI dimensions, requiring minimal cutting while producing a clean, precise pocket entry.

Correct, Not Undersized - Many reamers on the market are undersized:
- Typical “small” reamers: ~0.167"
- Burstfire Small: 0.1730"
- Typical “large” reamers: ~0.202"
- Burstfire Large: 0.209"
This ensures proper primer fit without over‑cutting or deforming the pocket.

How to Use
The reamer does NOT need to be inserted fully.
Insert until you feel or hear cutting, and that’s all you need — a quick “tap and go”.
You can open it slightly more if you prefer easier seating with a hand primer.
For best results, we recommend verifying dimensions with a Primer Pocket Go/No‑Go Gauge (available on our website).
