- We redesigned and Improved vs others on the market. Normal reamers cut at 35–40-degree angle, which will require excessive metal to be cut for the crimp to be removed. BFG Reamers 80–85-degree angle, to SAAMI dimensions, and requires minimal cutting.

Cut radius for our tools is 0.0025 below standard primer dimensions. For small is 0.1730 and 0.209 for large, compared to 0.167 small and 0.202 large for most other products in the market (undersized). A quick “tap and go” is all you need! It's like swaging, but better, and faster.

I love this reamer. However I don't own one of them fancy bit stations that spin the tools for youand hand reaming 100 cases isn't my idea of fun. So I adapted it to a battery hand held screwdriver and couldn't be more pleased with the results. Mabey along with their threaded version they could make a quick bit version. I will add my adaptation in picks below. But again awsome tool

I purchased my first Burstfire product some time ago. A complete case prep set and finally put it to use. Overall it worked really well but I had a problem with one of the bits, or thought I had a problem. I contacted Bustfire customer service to ask if it was me or the bit. I cannot say how impressed I was not only the quick response, but the follow up. I was sent replacement bits which I received in a short time. I really appreciate the excellent customer service and want to spread the word that not only does Burstfire make a great product, but they stand behind the occasional mishap if something does go wrong. The primer pocket reamers work great. The drill attachment is excellent and made short work of a lot of Lake City 5.56 brass.

Very high quality, and I really like the hex adapter so that the reamers are easily chucked into my battery powered drill. Makes primer pocket work a breeze! Thanks for a great product!
The product works as advertised, but in my opinion, removes a bit too much material. It solved my issue with primer crimps, but I’m thinking the resulting lack of primer tension reduces the number of reloads possible. If you’re only hoping to get 3-5 reloads out of military brass… then you’re most likely fine. Overall, a well made product to work better than any other primer pocket crimp remover.
I have found that these last much longer than other brands. I do a lot of brass over the years and these are my go to tools that I depend on. These are the only ones I will buy.
These are Great Tools, however it would be nice if you could by the Large and Small separately. Thank You Burstfire!!
I've tried them all. (Seems Like It Anyway) All machine driven, and these just plain remove the crimp quick and clean. I'm glad I decided to give the a try. I believe them to be a solid dependable tool at a fair price. Need to get the pan next!

These are better than the previous pocket reamers, I am using on my prep station and just a quick light bump is all you need with 556 cases.

Exceeded my expectations. They actually take out crimp and the new primer fits perfectly. Far superior to the competition. Would be nice if it had a handle, but a quarter inch hex driver and tape works just as well.
A primer pocket reamer that actually works! I use this exclusively now with a 1/4 nut driver or an adapter in my drill.
Superior to any handheld reamer I paid just as much if not more. If the case spins in your hand, just wear a glove.
Best crimp remover I have tried and I have tried most all of them. I do large volumes so just chuck it in a drill clamped on a bench and a touch is all most need. The video is spot on as saw a friend trying the R brand remover and and nothing. Have bought several for friends. You will not be disappointed if used correctly.
Great and accurate military primer crimp remover. Drill holder for part would have been easy to include. I see they are 50 cents which is better than running to home depot to get one. I would have paid a buck more to have one included. I'm sure my gas and wear and tare on my car was a LOT more than a buck. Still a great product and does what it says. Thank you folks for all the fancy machining and grinding you do for 20 bucks

Very nice set. Does a great, quick and easy job reaming and crimp removing (5.56mm tested) where other manufacturers tools don't. I have it mounted on my Burstfire combo machine. Let it turn three to five times while pressing down for crimp removal on the faster positions. You will get the feel. Combined with the go/no go gauge, you will see it is worth the investment. I cant believe how much time this saves me and my kids...mostly my kids.
Some pockets on Hornady 17 bras is crimped ( older version) theses work great when I don’t have to do all the pockets.
I have tried several small primer pocket tools to load my 223/556. The Burstfire has been the best and most durable
I found these primer pocket reamers to work just fine as long as you use a just hand tool. A quick 1/2 to full turn and the pocket crimp is gone without removing too much material. No need for motorized equipment here.
I bought this based on the video which compared it to other reamers and the insistence that it was designed and or made to the correct dimensions and worked with a quick touch. It looked to be pretty much fool proof to use. Found that it took more than just a very quick touch to get rid of the crimp but also found that it is also easy to make the primer pockets out of round and too big. Ended up reaming a few 223 pockets where I was able to get the no-go gauge in. I don’t have a prep center so was just using a handheld drill driver on slow speed. Perhaps using a handheld driver makes it easy to have the tool and the case aligned at an angle that can lead to pocket distortion. So maybe in a case prep center it could be easier to use with better results. I can’t return it so I’ll just keep it around with my other case prep tools and maybe someday it might prove useful. They aren’t very expensive, so I don’t feel too put out by it.
I have bought and extensively used the anealer and case prep tools from Burstfire and I have been more than pleased. Their tools are well made and put together. Their ordering and shipping is first rate and I have not found any tools that better with theirs. From my perspective, Burstfire is the best.
I have always used a swager. No more. This makes the process so much faster. I'll never go back to swaging again. I would highly recommend.
